Julia Fulmer
Director of Community Impact & Marketing
Julia joined the United Way team in October 2024. She graduated summa cum laude from Francis Marion University, where she was honored with the Marketing Award from the FMU School of Business.
Her passion for digital media began at a young age with self-taught video editing, which evolved into a professional career spanning over five years in live broadcasting and audio/visual production. She soon progressed to creating commercials for businesses in the Florence community, and continues to expand her portfolio of video editing projects during her free time. She has collaborated with several organizations, including The Post and Courier, Associated Press, and the South Carolina Cancer Alliance.
Through her volunteer work with organizations such as Kalmia Gardens, Camp Happy Days, and Courageous Kidz, Julia developed a deep appreciation for the nonprofit sector. Outside of her professional endeavors, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, learning new languages, practicing archery, camping with friends, and, in general, acquiring new skills whenever possible.
