Andrea Griffin-Scott

Andrea Griffin-Scott serves as the Senior Human Resource Manager at AESC in Florence. She is a dedicated Human Resources leader with more than three decades of experience across manufacturing, legal, and distribution industries. Her HR journey began in New York, where she worked at a CPA firm, Hoberman Miller, while earning her B.A. in English with a minor in Mass Communication from the New York Institute of Technology.

In 1998, she relocated from her home in the Bronx to Charleston, SC, where she completed a B.S. in Human Resource Management with an emphasis in Organizational Development from Charleston Southern University. Andrea has held a variety of HR leadership roles across respected organizations, including Larry Stuart, Hall, Dickler, Kent, Friedman & Wood, Pearlstine Distributors, Lee Distributors, WABCO/ZF, and Bosch.

A long-time resident of both Florence and Charleston, Andrea is passionate about service, equity, and expanding opportunities for individuals and families. Her belief that “leadership is not about titles—it’s about impact, influence, and inspiration” guides her work and community involvement.

Andrea has been married to her husband, Terrence, for 22 years and is the proud mother and grandmother to a large, close-knit family. Outside of work, she enjoys travel, cooking, reading, and spending time with loved ones.
