65 years ago, the United Way of Florence County was officially incorporated by the state of South Carolina on September 29th. Although we were known then as the "United Fund of Greater Florence" our mission to provide necessary health and human services to those in need in our community remains the same.

In fact, since then, we have been working hard to improve the lives of those in need in the health, education, financial stability, emergency services, special needs, and youth impact areas. During our 64th year, we were able to utilize the donations made to our 2018-2019 campaign to help 19,000 Florence County residents and allocate $882,086 to non-profits providing life-changing services in our community.

Our only wish for our birthday this year is that we can spend our 65th year helping even more people in our community. If you would like to help make our wish come true, please consider donating to our 2019-2020 "Share A Little Aloha" campaign today. Donations can be made by clicking the "Give" button above or by texting "Florence" to 565-12. You can also send a donation by check to our office at 1621 West Palmetto Street in Florence.

If you are not in a position to make a donation at this time, you can also help support our mission by sharing information about the United Way with others. Tell your friends and family about us or share our donations post on Facebook. Every bit of effort helps!
