Our annual Day of Caring has been a staple of the United Way of Florence County for 26 years. Last year, over 360 volunteers participated in works of volunteerism across our county! This year, our Day of Caring will take place on Friday, September 20, 2019

If you and/or your volunteer group are interested in participating in this year's event, you can view a list of all of the projects by going to the Day of Caring page under the "Our Work" menu or by clicking https://www.uwflorence.org/campaigncentral/dayofcaring2019/. Most of the projects can be completed by any skill-level, however, some projects will require certain necessary skills such as plumbing or electrical experience. Please click on the orange "Project Description" link to read a full description of each project. For many of the projects, the supply cost and volunteers needed numbers will have been estimated, so we highly recommend contacting the project coordinator for more information.

Volunteers are not limited to the number of projects they can sign up for, but please keep in mind that volunteers are responsible for any project supplies. If your group can only complete certain parts of a project, need to complete a project on a date other than 9/20, or do not see any projects that fit your skill-set, you can contact us at 843-662-2407 or by email at rbaggett@uwflorence.org and we would be happy to work with you on a project.
