Kevin Russell

Kevin Russell President

Kevin is the newest employee at the United Way of Florence County after joining the team in October 2018. A native of Melbourne, Florida, Kevin previously worked for GE Healthcare before retiring in 2017 after eighteen years with the company. Kevin also served on the UWFC Board of Directors for five years and during his time on the board, he held the positions of CIC Chair and Campaign Chair.

Kevin received undergraduate degree in Management from the University of Central Florida. He is married to wife, Cindy, and has three children, Kyle, Jordan, and Jamie.

Joe Craig

Joe Craig Director of Campaign and Donor Relations

Joe Craig joined the United Way team after serving previously on the United Way of Florence County’s Board of Directors and as the CIC Chair. Joe is originally from Sioux City, Iowa and attended Briar Cliff College. He came to Florence to serve as the publisher for the Morning News before focusing on work in the non-profit sector.

Joe is married to his wife, Kathy, and has two sons, Joe Jr. and Steve, and three grandchildren, Madison, Abbey, and Little Joe. In his free time, Joe enjoys golfing and watching his favorite TV show, NCIS.

Rachel Baggett

Rachel Baggett Director of Marketing & Initiatives

Rachel joined our United Way of Florence County team in October 2015. A native of the Florence area, Rachel most recently worked for the Florence Morning News and BRAVO! Event and Party Rentals.

Rachel received her Bachelor's of Business Administration Degree in Marketing from Francis Marion University in 2013 and her Master's of Business Administration from Francis Marion University in 2017. She is the proud parent of two cats, Oliver and Muu.

arris Lupo

Farris Lupo Program & Operations Director

Farris came to us in January 2015. She and her small family recently relocated to Florence from Lexington, SC. Originally from Dillon, SC, she is excited to be back in the Pee Dee and looking forward to her work with the United Way of Florence County.

Farris obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Clemson University in 2005. She comes to us from Lexington County Recreation & Aging Commission where she enjoyed working with and for senior citizens. She has been married for eight years to husband Kenneth, and they have a five year old son named Baze.
