The Campaign & Donor Relations Director is charged with growing and strengthening United Way of Florence County’s annual campaign and donor relations. The primary focus of this position is to support the annual campaign operations including beneficial corporate and individual relationships, increasing effectiveness of volunteer engagement and recruitment, and growing Resources under Management (RUM). The position objectives are to maximize giving through a concerted effort to establish and grow meaningful relationships with company leadership, key influences/stakeholders and priority donors in order to retain our current donor base and develop new business and new donor relationships. (S)he will be responsible for creating and executing the short- and long- term workplace campaign account plans for each company to realize substantial revenue growth and raise maximum dollars to the UWFC Annual Campaign. This outward-facing role will require the candidate to be a leader who has the demonstrated ability to build strong, mutually beneficial relationships.
The Director of Marketing & Initiatives oversees all marketing and communications for the agency, across all platforms and formats, in an effort to raise awareness and support for United Way’s mission. This individual develops and implements strategic goals around marketing that will drive engagement, positive stakeholder relations, brand consistency, localization and customization.
The position is also responsible for United Way’s initiatives supporting health and human services. This individual will develop and implement programmatic strategies that will increase participant success, influence community change and develop long-lasting relationships to the benefit of United Way and the community.
The position collaborates with and supports the United Way team in all efforts defined by the President as essential in helping United Way meet its mission for the Florence County community. The position reports to the President.
The Program & Operations Director will manage the main functions and logistics for the United Way office. This position will also provide oversight to United Way’s financial accountability processes and donor relations.
