WHY: For many, the start of a new school year means choosing between ensuring their child has school supplies or ensuring their child has food… running water… electricity. Through STUFF the Bus, we ensure that disadvantaged youth start school with the tools they need to learn. For parents, we lift some of the burden, allowing them to focus on being supporters in their child’s education.
WHAT: Any new school supplies will be accepted, but items in particular need according to a survey of local teachers are:
- Copy Paper
- Dry Erase Markers
- Hand Sanitizer
- Disinfecting Wipes
- Lined Paper
- Composition Notebooks
|
- Kleenex
- Erasers
- Pencils
- Flash Drives
- Colored Pencils
- Construction Paper
